Do you know what’s going on in San Francisco? Hotel companies are pushing to phase out workers’ hard-won union health care.

Hi John,

We are writing to share this important update from UNITE HERE about its national fight for good jobs for hotel workers.

Since Labor Day, more than 10,000 hotel workers have gone on strike in 11 cities. Workers have settled strikes and won great contracts in every city but one. Hotel workers remain on strike in San Francisco, and health care is a major reason why.

Will you sign the petition in support of San Francisco hotel workers striking for their health care?

As of today, around 2,500 UNITE HERE Local 2 members are on strike, and more strikes could begin soon. These workers have been on strike for 82 days, and they will stand strong until they win the health care their families need.

Thank you for signing the petition saying that these striking workers deserve affordable health care

Over the years, generations of San Francisco hotel workers have fought for and won affordable, high-quality health care that their families depend on.

That’s why the labor movement is standing together to demand that these San Francisco workers get a fair deal.

Thank you for pledging your support

In Solidarity,

Team AFL-CIO
