[1]Sarah McBride - Democrat for Congress
I know that hope can be challenging in this moment. But one thing I’ve
learned over the years that we all need to keep in mind is that nothing is
truly impossible.
When I was younger I often worried that the heart of this country wasn’t
big enough to love someone like me. Over the last decade, though, I’ve
been able to bear witness to change that once seemed so impossible to me
as a kid that it was almost incomprehensible.
I still carry that with me now. Because in so many ways, on both sides of
the political divide, I think our country is currently experiencing its
own crisis of hope.
But I know that we still have both the individual and the collective
capacity to meet the scope and scale of the challenges we face. I know it
because I’ve personally seen it.
If we’re persistent and intentional about the work ahead of us, I know
there’s no problem too great for us to solve together. And although it may
look tough right now, always remember that things can and do change very
fast in today’s world.
So don’t lose hope. A
better tomorrow is just around the corner if we put in the work.
