With the elections underway for the next DNC Chair, progressive representatives in Congress are making it clear that we want the next leaders of the party to:
- Reform, restructure, and rebrand the party.
- Embrace grassroots donors and reject special interest and dark money.
- Rebuild our multiracial working-class base.
- Show recent, demonstrated experience of turning around organizations, building large coalitions and winning elections.
Rep. Pramila Jayapal said she is proud to team up with Our Revolution to lead the charge to ensure the Democratic Party returns to its roots as the party of working people. “The corporate influence and dark money flooding primaries have hurt the party’s credibility among voters — leading to devastating losses to Trump and the erosion of trust among working-class Americans,” she said.
