Last year at Peace Over Violence, we provided vital support to thousands of survivors in need:
* 10,539 crisis calls were answered by our dedicated staff and volunteers ([link removed]) through our LA Rape & Battering Hotline.
* 6,495 individual therapy sessions, guided by our trauma-informed counselors, helped survivors begin to heal from the violence they experienced.
* 4,599 support group sessions created spaces for survivors to connect and support one another on their healing journeys.
* 195 survivors and their families received assistance in finding, securing, and paying for safe housing.
* 588 community members practiced life-saving skills through our Empowerment Self-Defense and Safety training ([link removed]) .
