Following the shooting death of Brian Thompson, the CEO of UnitedHealthcare,
a professor at the University of Pennsylvaniapraised the assassin.

Julia Alekseyeva is an assistant professor of English and Cinema & Media
Studies at UPenn. She called the alleged assassin an “icon” on her TikTok and
Instagram accounts.

Accuracy in Media has long demanded accountability for hate at UPenn, and
this is no exception. We sent our activist network toUPennLovesMurder.com
<[link removed]> to send a message to the university's Board of
Trustees.

And here's the win for AIM: After thousands of emails were sent to the Board,
Alekseyeva issued a public apology. However, that doesn't change the fact that
their university continues to embrace radicalism, racism, and violence.

Of course, we are glad Alekseyeva apologized. But this is emblematic of a much
wider problem, and AIM will continue to demand accountability where
universities fail to.

In liberty,

Adam Guillette

Board of Trustees. Demand they hold bad actors accountable rather than
continuing to foster an environment of hate.
