CSVANW welcomes all to join us for lunch and a panel discussion from people who have experienced trafficking. These survivor experts will talk about their stories, how others can contribute to prevention efforts in the state, and what their journey in accessing supportive services in New Mexico means for the needs of survivors, especially Native American survivors. Discussion will help the audience better understand the lived experience of survivors of human trafficking, and better understand the response needs for Native American communities in New Mexico.
The two-hour focus group will be held in person (in Albuquerque), at the CSVANW conference space, which has the capacity to fit around 40 people maximum. The registration will therefore be capped at 40. Registration will be open for Members starting December 11th, and open for the general public starting December 25th. Discussion will be held from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM.
Lunch will be from 12:30 PM until 1:00 PM.
Participants will receive a stipend following the focus group and talking circle.
