The 350 Chicago Fundraising Team is seeking volunteers to assist with our grant writing/fundraising efforts. Strong fundraising is critical to our continued success. Can you help?

Grant writing and fundraising drives:

We will be researching and applying for further grants following our successful grant writing projects of the last 2 years. Plus, we will be seeking to raise money through various fundraising drives in the coming new year.  We aim to raise enough money to not only retain our current staffer, but to also raise enough funds to hire a campaigner to advance our work on divestment/utility accountability and climate justice.

We will be,

• Writing Letters of Inquiry and grant applications to various foundations.
• Planning several fundraising efforts for the coming year, from potentially hosting a trivia night to planning a monthly donor campaign.
• Maintaining and building fundraisers on various fundraising platforms.
• Identifying and exploring fundraising avenues to garner more donations and gifts from individuals and other potential contributors.

This is a great committee for anyone who likes to research or write, who has grant writing experience, or who is interested in learning more about the ins and outs of grant writing! If you like event planning, donor engagement, or individual fundraising, we will be thinking through the many ways for us raise funds to support 350 Chicago's efforts to fight the climate crisis!

Please consider getting involved, even if you don’t have any prior experience! We are flexible with time commitments and would be grateful for any help you can offer. Together, we can raise the money we need to fund our important work.
