The Gamaliel National Network is at an exciting phase in our development. As we grow our team and expand our work, we are committed to building a strong organizational culture - one where everyone can do their best work and feel a sense of belonging, and collectively, we can deliver more impact in the world. That’s why we’re excited to share the news that I have started working with The Management Center. The Management Center’s mission is to help leaders working for social change build and run more equitable, sustainable, and results-driven organizations. This fall, I began coaching and support sessions with Chantá Parker, one of their partners, to strengthen my management skills, enhance our organizational practices and culture, and support the Network through the Executive Director transition.
The Gamaliel Board and Senior Leadership is committed to an Executive Director transition process that transforms how we operate, not simply reproduce the past. The Executive Committee of the Board and key senior staff will create a Transition Committee (TC) to guide the succession process. Our goal is to engage you in this process by gathering information about the qualities of leadership we need to succeed in the future.
We want your input and perspective as the transition process is shaped. To that end, we’re asking that you all complete this survey [[link removed]] by Monday, January 6th at noon.
The Transition Committee will use these survey results to guide the process, aiming to select a new leader by fall 2025. Throughout, the Board and Transition Committee will ensure diverse voices in the network are heard and involved. Survey responses will be collected through January 6, 2025.
As a reminder: Chantá Parker (Partner, The Management Center) will compile and anonymize the results, ensuring individual responses remain confidential.
