Did you hear??
Both the U.S. Senate AND House of Representatives JUST held oversight hearings to question Trump-appointed Postmaster Louis DeJoy’s disastrous leadership of the USPS.
<< Now that he’s testified before Congress, we need you to add your name to our petition calling on the USPS Board of Governors to FIRE DeJoy once and for all! >>
FIRE DEJOY
John, EVERYONE is fed up with Louis DeJoy’s destruction of the USPS – even Republicans who have previously supported him! Here’s a recap of what was said in both hearings this month:
U.S. Sen. Jon Ossoff (GA) called out DeJoy for “hemorrhaging cash when you said you'd be making money,” and said he needed to “do better” for his constituents, calling delivery “abysmal.”
U.S. Rep. and Chairman James Comer (KY) told DeJoy, “with each loss comes an explanation of how much it was out of your control,” when discussing a near $10 billion loss for this year and a projected $6.5 billion loss next year.
U.S. Sen. Gary Peters (MI) stressed that “there are serious concerns” and that the declines in service from DeJoy’s USPS are “clearly not what we want to see.”
U.S. Rep. Virginia Foxx (NC) emphasized that the USPS is currently “on track to close this year with a $9.5 billion loss” and asked whether or not DeJoy’s Delivering for America plan was even “up to the task” of making sure the USPS breaks even.
U.S. Sen. Jackie Rosen (NV) stressed, “you don’t get to sacrifice those living in my rural areas or subject to harsher weather in the name of cost savings” and that “the postal service has an obligation to deliver to everyone.”
EVEN Republican Sen. Josh Hawley (MO) told Louis DeJoy, “I hate this plan” and pledged to “go to the mat” to stop DeJoy’s plan of slowing down delivery EVEN MORE.
It couldn’t be more clear, team – it’s time to FIRE DeJoy once and for all and save the USPS. Be one of the 66 supporters we need in your state to sign now and DEMAND that the USPS Board of Governors FIRE Louis DeJoy!
FIRE DEJOY
