Friend,

It’s time to reopen Minnesota.

Frankly, at this point, our Governor has lost a great deal of public support
due to some rather arbitrary decrees. The following quote relates to a concern
I raised with the Governor last week. Luverne (and the rest of southwest
Minnesota) is not the Twin Cities, and should have never been treated as such.

“People in South Dakota are selling their wares and making money,” said
Hagedorn, whose southern Minnesota district borders Wisconsin, Iowa and South
Dakota. “And 20 miles east in Luverne, businesses are shut down and going
bankrupt.”

Meanwhile, South Dakota’s businesses were never shut down and the Governor
never issued a stay at home order. People made their own choices to protect
themselves and others. As things stand, the per capita death rate for SD is 40%
that of MN.

I trust the people of Minnesota to do the right thing. Open the state for
everyone. We can do this safely and responsibly.  If you agree with me, please
