In New Jersey, we don’t whine. We work.

We’re inventors, innovators, and builders. We work with our minds — and
our hands.

So let’s be the state that builds more housing. The state that fixes the
economy. And let’s make life more affordable for hard-working New
Jerseyans — from health care, to groceries, to child care.

In Congress, I’ve fought every day to address these challenges. They
aren’t new, and I’m ready to keep confronting them head-on.

But we won’t stop there.

This is the state, more than any other, that guaranteed our freedom as we
fought for our nation’s independence. Today, we can also be the state that
sets the gold standard for protecting rights and freedoms we know will be
under attack from Donald Trump’s Washington – beginning with abortion
rights.

Because in New Jersey, we love our country. We’re proud of our state. We
value our freedoms. And we’ll defend them with everything we’ve got.

In the Navy, I was on a mission to protect our country. Now, I’m
announcing my candidacy for governor on a mission to get things done for
New Jersey.
