Dear John, the countdown to the 2025 legislative session has begun! |
This session will be the first with the newly elected supermajorities in the State House and Senate. These supermajorities provide Democrats with a mandate to take action to protect our clean air and water, public lands, wildlife, and climate, but it’s up to us to make sure that they follow through. There’s so much at stake this session, and we can’t afford to let anything slide.
So, are you ready to be one of OLCV’s superstar activists standing up for our climate and environment this year? OLCV’s Town Hall Teams will help you do just that! Depending on your location across the state, OLCV is organizing teams specific to your area. We’ll help equip and encourage you on your activist journey, as you defend our climate and make your voice heard at town halls in your district.
You can become a climate activist this year by signing up to join our Town Hall Team! Once you’ve signed up, our organizers will reach out to you with more information. They will provide you with your town hall toolkit (full of tips, talking points, and what to expect), more information on upcoming town halls, and how to best prepare. These town halls will be hosted by your state lawmakers and close to home, making it easy to join and take action!

Advocating for our climate and environment is one of the most urgent issues of our time. There’s no denying that the future of our home is at stake if we don’t continue to make progress on climate. One of the most impactful things any of us can do in this fight is use our voice and speak to those in power about climate action. It reminds lawmakers of their duty and responsibility to all of us. Join our town hall team by clicking here and our organizers will be in touch with you shortly!

I hope you’ll sign up to make your voice heard. Our voices will make a big difference going into 2025 and beyond! Thank you for your support of this fight. Together,
|
