Friend: EXCITING NEWS!

LIMITED-TIME $50,000 MATCH: EVERY $1 = $3 ([link removed])

Our proud partner, H&M, will TRIPLE ([link removed]) your gift
to The Trevor Project.*

Hi Friend,

“I wish I knew that it was okay to be a parent that affirmed a trans child,” says Glorya (she/her), speaking about her experience before her child, Trey (she/they), came out.

All LGBTQ+ young people deserve affirmation and love. So, it’s up to all of us to show up for those who lack affirming adults in their lives, especially at times when they need that support and protection the most.

We learned from our 2024 National Survey that 90% of LGBTQ+ youth shared that recent politics negatively impacted their well-being. And, our Crisis team saw an overall volume increase of over 700% on November 6, just 24 hours after the election, compared to weeks prior.

Please be the one right now who helps ensure that Trevor’s suicide prevention and crisis intervention services are available 24/7/365 for LGBTQ+ young people in crisis. Make your gift when our proud partner H&M will add $2 to every $1 you contribute.* ([link removed])

Glorya wasn’t always a supportive parent to Trey and at first, she had a hard time with her child’s transition. But she took the time to learn, affirm, and continue to love her child: “It was difficult because there was unlearning. It was difficult because things that you thought were true were now not true.” Glorya and Trey’s relationship is much stronger now.

That kind of affirmation can be life-saving. When LGBTQ+ young people report feeling accepted by just one adult, their odds of attempting suicide are significantly lower. In many instances, by more than 40% according to Trevor research.

For some of the LGBTQ+ young people who reach out to Trevor, our crisis counselors are the only accepting adults in their lives. Help ensure we’re always at the other end of a call, chat, or text. Make your 3X-multiplied gift right now. ([link removed])
