When an economic crisis rocked her hometown in Sri Lanka, 12-year-old Heshani* was forced to leave school due to a lack of fuel for transportation. Her family faced economic hardship that left them without nutritious meals or basic supplies.

But with help from compassionate people like you, Save the Children provided Heshani’s family with critical cash assistance.
