I would like to thank you for sticking with Full Fact during the recent increase in email traffic over the last few weeks.
As a charity, Full Fact maintains our editorial independence by making sure we have a diverse range of funding from individuals, charitable trusts and one-off donations from supportive organisations.
We hit our Big Give fundraising target of £32,000 with seconds to spare, this was underpinned by an average donation from our supporters of about £10, showing how critical small donors are in funding our fact checking work.
The £32,000 was matched by a charitable trust and two major donors for a total of £64,025 (with a £25 donation in the last second!).
