The Coalition launches a new campaign sharing how complex and coordinated care saves a baby with congenital heart defect.

Hello,

Beckett Kiesler was born with half a heart – diagnosed with a congenital heart defect as a baby. His parents Austin and Kayla Kiesler turned to a children’s hospital in Texas, relying on their team of 40 professionals to deliver the complex and coordinated care that only hospitals can provide.

“We have so much trust in our team of caregivers and are so thankful for a hospital that can provide all the care we need under one roof.”

The Kiesler’s built a special bond with the care team — keeping a candy jar stocked for them and extending their appreciation for successfully performing six surgeries and three open-heart surgeries on Beckett.

Watch the impact of complex and coordinated hospital care through Beckett’s story.
