We need bees. The little bugs pollinate 70% of our 100 most important food crops.[1]

But as bee-killing pesticides flood bees' environment, these pollinators are facing near-record losses: This year we lost hundreds of thousands of bee colonies.[2]

With so much at stake, we need the world's largest online retailer to take these pesticides off its site. Are you with us?

Right now, bees are being inundated with pervasive pesticides. A whopping 4 million pounds of bee-killing pesticides seep into bees' habitat every year.[3]

When bees are poisoned with these pesticides, it's not pretty. They can't see straight, their nervous systems suffer, they can't remember their way home -- so we shouldn't be surprised when they can't carry on the important work of pollinating the crops that line our grocery stores.

Before we have another year with hundreds of thousands of bee deaths, let's get these poisonous pesticides off of the world's largest online shopping site.

Bees are small, but they play a mighty role in our food supply. Think of what you eat in a day. Do you eat berries? Do you drink coffee? Maybe have some french fries? If you do, those foods -- and so many more -- need bees.

We all need bees. And to save them, we can start by getting Amazon to take bee-killing pesticides off its site.
