Webinar Overview
Family preparedness workshops help families engage in contingency
planning for their children, in the event of detention or deportation
of a parent, ensuring their children are cared for and the parents’
wishes are followed even if they experience a family separation.
This webinar will train people working with immigrant parents in
California to conduct family preparedness workshops. Participants
will gain the resources and confidence to work with families to
complete family preparedness plans, share information about basic
rights, and direct families to additional immigration resources.
