We emailed you throughout 2024 all about the U.S. House seats that we could flip from red to blue.

And now, with the final race called, we have our final results.

First, a projection in CA-27. Republican Rep. Mike Garcia has fiercely held this seat since winning it in a special election in 2020. But in the 2024 Election, we can project that Democrat George Whitesides has flipped this seat from red to blue.

Next, we have a projection in CA-45. Many pundits and election forecasters originally thought this seat was too entrenched for Democrats to have a chance.

But thanks to grassroots supporters and our Forever Organizing program, Democrat Derek Tran defeated Republican Rep. Michelle Steel in this race. He only won by a very slim 653 vote margin — meaning your donation may have made *the* difference!

But that’s not all, John. We have a final projection in one of the closest races of the 2024 Election. In CA-13, Democrat Adam Gray has won over Rep. John Duarte by a margin of 187 votes.

With a margin that close, it would have nearly been impossible to prevail without everyone who pitched in a donation to keep our operations running after Election Day. Experts agree that the outcome of this seat was influenced by which party was more effective at correcting ballots with technical issues.

We know that the reelection of Donald Trump is devastating — but that isn’t the only story of 2024. Thanks to your support, we flipped three seats from red to blue here in California and a total of 4 out of 6 of our target seats.

That’s a big deal. And it leaves Speaker Mike Johnson with his smallest majority *EVER*.

Now, we need to keep up the momentum. We have a proven formula for flipping seats, and we need to keep organizing and mobilizing to ensure Democrats can take back the U.S. House Majority at the soonest opportunity — which could even be through special elections in 2025.
