Supporting Our Military

This week I voted to support our military and to weed out unnecessary programs. Our military was created to defend our country and support freedom. House Republicans are leading the charge to stop transgender treatments for minors, ban critical race theory, prevent a Green New Deal in the military, combat the Chinese Communist Party, and stand with Israel. We also fought for and secured a 14.5% pay increase for junior enlisted servicemembers.

Supporting Our Emergency Medical Services

I am honored to have received an award from the American Ambulance Association for my work supporting our emergency medical services. Thank you to all of our first responders and EMS personnel for your critical work on behalf of Mississippians.

Meeting with the Mississippi Manufacturers Association

I want to thank the Mississippi Manufacturers Association (MMA) for stopping by my D.C. office last week. Mississippi is blessed to have great manufacturers who help grow our economy and ship Mississippi produced products across the globe. Thank you, MMA, for the great work you do representing our state.

Introducing our Fall Interns

We are excited to have college students and recent college graduates come work for the Third Congressional District of Mississippi and learn about government and civics. This week I am excited to highlight Alexander Blum. Alexander Blum is from Sumter, South Carolina. He is an alumnus of The College of William & Mary, where he double majored in Government and Hispanic Studies.  We are proud that he is serving on our team this fall.
