The fight for democracy didn’t end on November 5th. 2025 brings new opportunities to beat MAGA extremism and strengthen our democracy.
* New Jersey Governor - In a state that moved toward Trump and that the current Democratic governor only won by 3 points, this race could be critical to gauging elections in Trump’s second term.
* Virginia Governor - With Republican Governor Glenn Youngkin term-limited, this is an opportunity for Democrats to flip a governor’s seat.
* Wisconsin Supreme Court - In a key swing state, control of the courts is key to maintaining free and fair elections. One of four liberal justices is retiring, leaving an open seat. This race will be critical to 2026, 2028, and beyond.
* Pennsylvania Supreme Court - Similarly, three of the five liberal justices are up for reelection, putting Democrats’ majority at risk.

These fights could determine gun safety, abortion rights, and voter access for millions. We have to be ready to step back up to the plate and fight for our democracy.
