We’re expecting a wave of new and even stricter voter ID laws in 2025. With every new or changing voter ID law, VoteRiders needs to increase its voter outreach work and help many thousands more voters understand changes to laws and get an ID.

To meet this growing demand for our services in the coming year, we’ve set a goal to raise $50,000 by December 31. This will ensure that we start the new year with the resources we need to help at-risk voters, no matter what new rules are headed our way.

The presidential election may be over, but there are judicial, state, and municipal elections coming up in states with deeply restrictive voter ID laws as early as February 2025. We’re preparing for voter education and outreach campaigns in Wisconsin, Arizona, Texas, Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Florida, and more.

In each of those states, every voter must be able to participate. Getting ID information and free help is vital to making that happen.
