This holiday, a hero sleeps in his car – You can bring a veteran and others HOME. Dear Friend,
Joseph was proud of his work as a skilled Army airborne paratrooper, but then back in civilian life, he ended up one of the unlucky people laid off when the pandemic hit. He searched endlessly for work, but when unemployment support was delayed for months, it left him struggling to get by. Joseph became homeless, living out of a car at 60 years old.
Homelessness affects over 30,000 U.S. veterans, but thanks to supporters like you, VOA’s Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) program is there for vets like Joseph, providing housing and other support. We need you with us to continue this lifesaving support!
Please donate now – your gift doubles with our holiday match!
