And Still I Vote. Join Us

Dear Advocate,

No one should ever have to choose between protecting their health and their right to vote.

The April 7 primaries in Wisconsin saw confusion, chaos, and uncertainty for voters -- and we've learned that at least 50 people were likely infected at Wisconsin polling places. Such a travesty cannot happen again.

Any plans to reopen America must include ensuring safe, fair, and accessible elections. Tune in to Turn Up Tuesday at 5:30 pm EST -- our weekly Facebook web series about turning up to vote and protecting our democracy. [link removed]

This week, we will discuss how to best ensure voter access for people with disabilities, who make up one of the largest voting blocks in the United States. In 2018, more than 14 million voters with disabilities cast ballots.

As states prepare for upcoming elections amid COVID-19, election administrators must expand remote voting while maintaining in-person voting systems, including designated and accessible options, so voters with disabilities can fully participate in the electoral process.

You'll hear from leaders, experts, and influencers about how lawmakers should ensure safe, fair, and accessible elections nationwide -- plus how you can get involved in the fight. And if you need information on polling updates and election protection, we've got you covered.

We won't be silenced during this critical election year. When people with disabilities have access to the ballot, all people benefit. Tune in today at 5:30 pm EDT and speak up for voting rights. [link removed]
