Hey team‚ — I’m back with this week’s update from the (virtual) campaign trail:

1. While we haven’t been together at Team Lizzie HQ recently, our team has stayed connected through conference calls and Zoom virtual meetings.  Yesterday, we got together to talk through our budget and mapped our road map to victory in November.  Right now, we’re in a strong place and that’s a testament to this team’s unwavering support and commitment.  We’ll need to sustain this momentum in the 168 days until Election Day.

2. Washington Republicans, GOP super PACs, and our opponent, Wesley Hunt, have ramped up their digital organization.  They’re funneling money and resources into false attacks, and digital ads.

3. As much as we’d like to be on the ground and in the community speaking with you in person, we need to continue doing what’s best for public health.  In the current landscape, we will continue to increase our digital footprint and share our fight for Houston with more people.  Your input here is valuable — I invite you to reply directly to this email and share with me any ideas you have for our growing virtual campaign.
