On November 21, the Young Center held a webinar which unpacked the results of the election, what they mean for immigrant families, children, and youth, and how the Young Center will continue to keep children safe, free, and in community, despite the challenges ahead.
We are so grateful to everyone who attended. Over 700 participants logged in to show their support for immigrant families and communities. In the coming months, we know that we'll be faced with unprecedented assaults on the rights of refugees, asylum seekers, and undocumented immigrants, as well those who have already obtained legal status. But knowing that we have so many people who are willing to give moment of their time shows that we're strong and ready to fight back. Thank you.

This past month has been an emotional time for many of us. As we approach the holiday season, we want to take a moment to thank all of you who have been there with us in 2024 and will continue to do so over the next four years. What we are facing is a marathon, not a sprint. Taking time to be with ourselves, our communities, and our loved ones is an important part of grounding ourselves so we can come back replenished.
