Health: Court Pauses ACA Eligibility for People with DACA

Monday, a federal court in North Dakota issued an order pausing implementation of the Biden Administration regulation making people with DACA eligible for coverage under the Affordable Care Act. Importantly, the order applies only to people in the 19 states suing to block the policy.

Equity: Health Care Language Access Guidance

Last week, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services issued guidance to help health care providers comply with new language access regulations. The guidance addresses issues like interpreter and translator qualification, automated translation, and other critical issues. Health advocates are encouraged to share this guidance with provider networks serving your community.
