What's Happening with OKDEMS: December Edition

I hope you are keeping up in the face of all that the holiday season throws at us. I wanted to take a quick moment to share with you what we’re up to here at OKDEMS HQ over the coming month. Keep an eye out for an upcoming Holiday Party -- to be announced very soon!

We are still accepting donations for our Gloves and Socks Drive at the OKC office. [[link removed]]

In addition to the community service actions spearheaded by the Democrats Care Committee, we are opening more ways to engage with Democrats near you!

We know that being present, being visible, and being in community with each other is how we build a robust party and resist rightwing extremism. We’re happy to welcome sign ups to the Parade Committee for our creative, fun-loving Dems with a knack for crafts. This is a great opportunity to get involved in any part of the state, as our historic small town Main Streets host parades frequently throughout the year! [[link removed]]


And just South of the State Capitol, we’ll be meeting up for friendly conversations at Second Story Books & Cafe for Coffee and Chats with OKDEMS on the second Friday of every month! [[link removed]]


And unsurprisingly, we never stop the work of electing Democrats! Our staff is at this moment gearing up for municipal, county, and school board elections across the state.

Just last week we separated out the stakes from all of our leftover and recycled yard signs to offer to our proud Democratic candidates in these upcoming local elections!
