We need to win in Kansas, Iowa, and Minnesota.

Chuck Schumer

I know so many of us are being impacted by the COVID-19 outbreak -- but if anything, this response shows how important it is to elect officials who will work hard for us and share the truth. But if you'd prefer to take a break from updates about Senate races in these uncertain times, let us know and we'll unsubscribe you for a few weeks -- because sometimes, we all need a quick break.

Friend,

Look, if I know one thing, it's this:

Moms get the job done. And pro-choice Midwest moms? Republicans better watch out.

That's why I'm excited to tell you about my friends Barbara Bollier, Theresa Greenfield, and Senator Tina Smith -- to take back the Senate we need to win in Kansas, Iowa, and Minnesota, and these three are going to be the ones to do it.

But these are all top Trump targets, and Republicans won't go down without a fight: Will you donate $5 or more to support Barbara Bollier in Kansas, Theresa Greenfield in Iowa, and Tina Smith in Minnesota right now?

Let me tell you a little bit more about each of these incredible candidates:

Barbara Bollier is a physician, not a politician -- and that's why she's running for Senate in Kansas. She's focused on hard data and facts rather than talking points and partisan politics. Barbara will bring her healthcare expertise to the Senate, like she has Kansas' State Legislature. She'll fight to fix our healthcare system, lower prescription drug prices and protect our public schools. She's running against Kris Kobach -- an extreme, anti-immigration advocate who led President Trump's failed voter fraud commission. We have to win this seat.

Theresa Greenfield is a farm kid with farm kid values -- she's running for Senate in Iowa because she's lived the struggles that our Iowa families are facing. When her first husband died in a tragic workplace accident, she had one small son and another on the way. It was his union benefits and Social Security survivor benefits that kept her and her young family out of poverty. At a time when the Republicans in Washington are doing everything they can to gut Social Security, we need a fighter like Theresa there to protect our earned benefits. But her opponent, Senator Joni Ernst, promised to make Washington squeal, but now she's part of the Washington establishment. She wants to gut Social Security behind closed doors, and was caught illegally coordinating with a dark money group that was set up by her aides. Instead of working for Iowans, she does Mitch McConnell's bidding. This is a must-win seat for us.

Tina Smith is fighting for issues that matter to all Americans: access to high-quality, affordable healthcare; campaign finance reform; support for our farmers and our rural communities; lower prescription drug prices; bold action on climate change; common sense gun reform. She's leading a bipartisan effort to lower the cost of insulin products to make sure no one has to ration their insulin because they can't afford it. But Jason Lewis -- a former congressman and right-wing radio talk show host -- has jumped into the race. Lewis was handpicked by Trump to run against Tina, which isn't a surprise given that Lewis has been called Minnesota's "Mini-Trump." Republicans are doing everything they can to win this seat -- we can't let them.

To flip the Senate, we need to help these women win: Donate $5 or more to help elect Barbara Bollier in Kansas, Theresa Greenfield in Iowa, and Tina Smith in Minnesota right now.

Sincerely,

Chuck Schumer
