We'll be blunt, John: We're not expecting any help or action from the federal government. A MAGA Department of Justice along with a Congress controlled by opponents of voting rights and a Supreme Court that's tearing down the Voting Rights Act one clause at a time all add up to a gigantic roadblock there.
But we can still fight -- state by state and legislature by legislature -- for voting rights at the state level. From state versions of the Voting Rights Act to pro-voting judicial nominees to fights against suppressive bills, our focus for the next two years will be at the state level.
That kind of fight is painstaking, which is why we're already asking for your help. RUSH $25 or whatever you can right now to help us protect and expand the right to vote across the country >> [[link removed]]

John, you don't need us to remind you about all the assaults on the Voting Rights Act. From Supreme Court cases to state laws and the recent 8th circuit ruling that citizens don't have a right to sue for their right to vote, the last decade-plus has been one attack after another.
That's why we've so quickly turned our focus to the state legislative sessions that kick off next month. Several states have enacted state-level voting rights acts over the past two decades, and Michigan is working hard to be next.
2025 is going to be a huge battleground for our right to vote. With attacks likely at the federal level in all three branches of government, our opportunities to go on offense will be in the states. We have to pass state laws wherever we can to defend and expand our right to vote while fighting suppressive legislation in states like Florida, Georgia, Texas, and more.
We're already hard at work and have a goal of raising $50,000 from grassroots donors to help mobilize and defend voting rights before state legislative sessions start in just a few weeks.
John: Will you fuel our work and chip in $25 or more to help reach our important fundraising goal before December 31? >> [[link removed]]

Integrity First Voter Action Project is dedicated to expanding ballot access and increasing voter participation across the country.
Since the Supreme Court gutted key provisions in the Voting Rights Act, extreme politicians have taken advantage to pass harsh laws that restrict access to the ballot box. These restrictions particularly affect disadvantaged communities and people of color. It’s our goal to bring awareness to these laws wherever they may crop up and organize voters to take action to ensure the right to vote is available to everyone in their states and communities.
Your support is crucial to our efforts. Will you donate today to help us protect voting rights? [[link removed]]
