We need to elect a fighter who will take on Big Pharma.

John,

Everywhere I’ve traveled on this campaign, Montanans have talked to me about the issue of healthcare and the cost of prescription drugs. I spoke with a woman in Havre who told me about how her daughter pays $2400 a month for one of her three diabetes medications, just to live.

That’s wrong and we’re going to change that. Montana’s laws prohibit illegal price rigging on prescription drugs now, we just need a fighter willing to enforce them.

Those laws mean nothing if enforcement isn’t a priority. As your Attorney General, we’ll haul Big Pharma into court and hold them accountable for price rigging. We’ll use Montana’s unfair trade practices laws to investigate illegal practices and put money back in your pocket.

And we’ll go after confusing medical billing, we’ll fight price fixing, and we’ll never stop fighting for real people.

I made a pledge not to take a single dollar of corporate PAC money, and I promise I’ll never be bought off by Big Pharma.

* Investigate and take down illegal practices by pharmaceutical corporations who use loopholes or collude to increase prescription drug prices.

* Automatically review each year increases to drug costs for unfair or deceptive practices.

* Prevent pharmaceutical corporations from taking advantage of public health crises, like COVID-19, to price gouge essential medicines like insulin or vaccines.

* Stand up against price gouging on needed goods-- such as personal protective equipment (PPE), hand sanitizers, toilet paper, cleaning products--during communicable disease outbreaks.

If you believe we should stand up to Big Pharma and lower prescription drug prices, please consider donating to our campaign.

Anytime we get that feeling, we’ve all felt it, that our choices are being taken away, that we’re getting nickeled and dimed – that’s where we’re owed an Attorney General who fights for us.

Whether it’s Big Pharma, multinational banks, telcomm giants, or even meat packers, I’ll make sure corporations are held accountable and Montanans are treated fairly.

Thank you for your work to help get Democrats elected in Montana. I ask that you support our campaign to elect an Attorney General who fights for us.

Sincerely,

–Raph Graybill

Supporting the campaign: Raph is currently working full time to support Governor Bullock. With the outbreak of COVID-19, we’ve cancelled all in-person fundraisers and events. But this election is more important than ever, especially with our access to healthcare on the line. If you want to continue to support our efforts to put a fighter for Montana in the Attorney General’s office, you can do so HERE ([link removed]) .
About Raph: Raph Graybill is Chief Legal Counsel to Governor Steve Bullock. A fifth-generation Montanan from Great Falls, Graybill won a Rhodes Scholarship and graduated from Yale Law School.
