Late last month, I sent around our post-election survey. As your Congressman-elect, listening to your voices is my most important job.

Here’s some of what folks had to say:
 

Protecting our democracy, climate change, and women’s reproductive rights were the top three issues of concern for 90% of respondents. Steve T., Claire H. and others voiced concern with Donald Trump’s attacks on education and the closing of key federal agencies. A majority of respondents are seriously concerned about possible cuts to Social Security and Medicare under a second Trump term.

There is a lot of work to be done in the new Congress come January, and with Republicans holding onto power by a razor-thin margin, it’ll be anything but easy.

Despite the odds, I’m prepared to keep fighting for good local jobs, lower everyday costs, safeguard reproductive freedom, protect Social Security and Medicare, and much more.

As you can see, we’ve received good feedback from our survey. But the more responses I receive, the better I can serve you in Washington.
