Remember when Donald Trump spent most of his campaign distancing himself from Project 2025, claiming he had nothing to do with the disastrous blueprint?

Well, since winning the election, he has picked at least seven people with ties to the manifesto to serve in his administration. Actions speak louder than words.

Look, regardless of Trump’s blatant lies about his ties to Project 2025, here’s what we do know: it’s a dangerous dumpster fire. The ideas it lays out dismantle and relocate the federal workforce (which would be a disaster for Virginia’s economy), gut Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid, end student debt relief, restrict access to abortion pills… and so much more. These are not thoughtful policies that will make government work better for people.

Trump may try to deny his involvement all he wants – even as he assembles his dream administration with folks who are explicitly tied to the blueprint – because we know the truth.

Just remember that every day in Washington, I will do everything in my power to stop Project 2025 from hurting Virginians and all Americans. Will you pitch in $5 so I can keep up this work in the Senate?
