The current crisis in Israel and Gaza has left us heartbroken. On October 7, over 1,200 Israelis were brutally  murdered and over 200 kidnapped into Gaza, with many still enduring unimaginable conditions in captivity today.

And for Gazans, the toll has been catastrophic: over 40,000 lives lost, millions facing famine, and a population gripped by unspeakable suffering.

While this devastating war continues, senior ministers in the Netanyahu government are pushing a dangerous agenda to establish Israeli settlements in Gaza. This initiative, driven by a fanatical, messianic minority, undermines the values of justice and peace central to our Jewish heritage and places countless lives—Israeli and Palestinian alike—at risk.

We cannot stand idly by as this extremist vision threatens Israel’s security, further distances the region from peace, and intensifies human suffering.
