Donald Trump’s new energy plan is a disaster for our environment…
His transition team is reportedly planning to roll out a wide-ranging energy package to increase oil drilling off the U.S. coast and federal lands, reviving the currently-dead Keystone Pipeline, and approving export permits for new liquified natural gas projects.
These plans spell doom for our environment at a time when we need to be doing everything we can to protect our environment and build a cleaner future for our kids and grandkids.
What’s worse: Trump has also promised to declare an “energy emergency” on his first day in office that would test whether he can bypass Congress and the nation’s regulatory system to impose some of these changes on a much quicker timeline.
