John, you helped Common Cause secure major wins and protections for our democracy this year. Check out Common Cause’s 2024 Wrapped to learn more >>
John, I can’t thank you enough for your activism and support this year. With your help, Common Cause reached new heights in 2024:
-
Net Neutrality: Net neutrality provides equal internet access for ALL. Thanks to years of advocacy from Common Cause supporters and our partners, the FCC voted this year to return control of the internet to the American people instead of corporate interests. We delivered 126,000 petition signatures thanking the FCC for this win.
-
Election Protection: We recruited 15,000 volunteers to assist voters in the 2024 election – serving as a crucial line of defense against suppression tactics, confusing laws, outdated infrastructure, and more.
-
State wins: In Wisconsin we fought gerrymandering and secured fair voting maps, in California we passed groundbreaking laws protecting our democracy from deceptive artificial intelligence (AI), and in Massachusetts and New Mexico we passed laws banning guns at the polls.
Check out these – and the other crucial wins you were a part of – on our official 2024 Wrapped website >>
Thanks for being a part of Common Cause, John. I’m so proud of what we accomplished together this year.
