John,Last week, Brad attended the first three Mayoral forums of the 2025 New York City elections.

At the Riders Alliance forum, we heard about Brad’s track record delivering real wins to transit riders — from fighting like hell to restore the B61 bus route in Brooklyn to leading the charge against Hochul’s unlawful decision to pause congestion pricing.

He also talked about his plans to push for full MTA funding, implement more busways, and expand Fair Fares.

At the Human Services Council Nonprofit Mayoral Forum, Brad spoke about the importance of ensuring that nonprofits are paid on time — and that nonprofit workers, especially women of color, are paid equitably.

By empowering nonprofits to provide essential services — like after-school programs that provide essential child care and teach our kids life skills, the arts, and so much more to help our future generations thrive.

Finally, at the Housing Conservation Coordinators Mayoral Forum, Brad reiterated the urgent need to build more affordable housing supply and increase tenant protections to solve the housing affordability crisis.

Brad fought for years to end vacancy decontrol and the vacancy bonus, and lead the Gowanus rezoning effort, where 8,000 units of housing are rising, including 3,000 of them affordable to working-class families.

And fun fact: Brad is the only candidate who is not taking money from real estate developers in NYC.

The bottom line? We can’t create the change we want to see in New York City without real action, John. Brad is ready to roll up his sleeves and get to work delivering bold leadership for New Yorkers.

Are you ready to help him? Donations made to our campaign by NYC residents are matched 8-to-1 (up to $250) through the City’s matching funds program, so please pitch in if you’re able: [[link removed]]
