Dear Mr. xxxxxx,
I wanted to pass along my latest update on what I have been doing to fight for you, Texas’ 21st Congressional District, and our country as a whole:
You can't do this to American heroes
On Monday morning, Manhattan jurors found Daniel Penny not guilty. The fact that an American jury stood against the brazen lawlessness of the New York prosecutor's office, and Alvin Bragg, means things are heading in the right direction. The Department of Justice under President Trump should be looking into the civil rights abuses against Daniel Penny. I want our Justice Department to hold New York accountable – you can’t do this to American heroes.
Taking back our military
President-elect Trump was elected by the American people to change this town – starting with confirming America-first cabinet nominees.
I agree with Pete Hegseth that woke-ism and radical left ideology are destroying our military and its readiness. I agree that the United States does not need to be in another endless war and that we ought to have somebody who has served our country in battle and understands the importance of his service to lead the best military in the world.
The House will confirm President-elect Trump's nominees who will change this town, take on the bureaucracy, and root out the waste and fraud in our government. We will pass bills that get the job done for the American people and undo the damage the Biden administration has caused.
We can’t keep printing money
Last week, Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy, leaders of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), visited Congress to lay out their vision to root out the waste and fraud in our government. But I told Elon and Vivek, you’ve been looking for the problem, look no further than this room because Congress has been the one that has been funding this nonsense. Congress is the one that's supposed to do oversight. I've said to my colleagues: if you can't print money — if literally it was banned today — what would you do? Republicans need to look in the mirror. They need to look at their constituents and they need to deliver. There's no more money. We can't keep printing.
Here are some other news articles of what I’ve been up to lately:
