Hi friend --

New reports from the Associated Press show that the CDC's guidelines on how to safely reopen America were far more strict and far more detailed than the plan the Trump team put out in April.

The CDC's solution was apparently more customized, more thorough, and included specific guidance on anticipating and mitigating another round of flare-ups -- as well as provided assistance to "help Americans re-enter civic life."

It sounds like the kind of plan the country could really use right now. So Trump ignored it, threw a party in the Rose Garden to celebrate a nonexistent victory, and then told the country's governors that the buck stops with them.

Trump may not want to hear expert advice. But Americans deserve to. Tell us now:
