Audience: Lead agencies (counties and tribal nations), case managers, MMIS data entry staff and other interested parties

Effective dates: Dec. 12-20, 2024

Summary: Lead agency staff must not add or make changes to Alternative Care (AC), Brain Injury (BI), Community Alternative Care (CAC), Community Access for Disability Inclusion (CADI), Developmental Disabilities (DD), Elderly Waiver (EW), Essential Community Supports (ECS), CFSS and Consumer Support Grant (CSG) service agreements in MMIS from Dec. 12-20, 2024, or until DHS sends an all-clear eList to lead agencies.

Summary: Effective immediately, the lead agency review team will conduct all reviews remotely.

Audience: People who receive CDCS services, their families, financial management services (FMS) providers, lead agencies, certified CDCS support planners and other interested parties

Effective date: Feb. 1, 2025

Summary: Effective Feb. 1, 2025, DHS will start the rolling implementation of the CDCS unbundling project.

Summary: The PCA College Service Corps program provides college students with an incentive bonus for providing PCA services.

Audience: Lead agencies, assessors, case managers, people who receive PCA or CSG services, families and other interested parties

Summary: DHS created key messages and resources for assessors and case managers to use when they talk to people and families about CFSS, which began replacing PCA and CSG in Minnesota as of Oct. 1, 2024.
