*MADISON, Wis.* – The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) today announced that the winter issue of "Wisconsin Natural Resources" magazine [ [link removed] ] is now available in print and online. Wisconsin winters can be wonderful, and the latest issue will help you embrace the fun.
Activities such as snowshoeing [ [link removed] ], sledding [ [link removed] ] and winter camping [ [link removed] ] get the cover treatment in the winter edition, along with fat-tire biking hot spots [ [link removed] ] and a look at snowmobile/ATV/UTV safety [ [link removed] ] this season. There’s also a story on the Kettle Moraine State Forest-Lapham Peak Unit, which tackles the uncertainties of climate change by making its own snow [ [link removed] ] for ski trails.
