As 2024 starts winding down and we take a break for the holidays, i ask that you bear with me as we start wrapping up things for the year, but first:
Our holiday brunch was full of food, drinks, and camaraderie as we announced the winners of our 2024 AYD Membership Awards and swore in our new executive board members for 2025. A big thank you to our sponsors as this event couldn’t be possible without you. Join AYD at Wreaths Across America
On December 14th, hundreds of people will gather to lay wreaths with Wreaths Across America at Arlington National Cemetery. AYD will be participating in this effort.
If you’ve never attended, it is a beautiful event to honor those who served our country. Day of we will meet outside across the street of the Arlington National Cemetery Metro Station at 8:30AM to walk over to the Memorial Avenue Entrance of the Arlington National Cemetery to get in line the 9am volunteer time slot.
Online registration is required for wreath laying, so please fill out this google form by December 12th at 11:59 PM [[link removed]] so we can register everyone at the same time in order to ensure we all have the same time slot of 9 am. Remember to bring the registration form that will be emailed to you as well as a photo ID. Please fill this form out before December 12th at 11:59pm in order to participate.

* Public Relations Director: * Oversees AYD media relations along with tracking local and state issues while preparing proper response statements.


* Recruitment Director: * Supports the Membership Director in our membership recruitment strategies.


* Retention Director: * Supports the Membership Director in our retention/engagement activities, works with the Programming and Fundraising Director.
