We hope you had a great time in Boston! As you may be aware we are have the 2025 YDA Spring Meeting Application now open! This will be the first meeting of the 2025 year and we would love to celebrate in your city.

The application is due January 10th 2025, with a goal of having the meeting in Late March-April. We would love to see your amazing city, you can find the application here.

We also have prepared some of the following tips and tricks to assist with your bid:

Medium to large size cities are best for travel and affordability. Emphasizing affordable locations of note for meals and entertainment, alongside the walkability of the bid site is a plus;
Ensure there are unionized hotels in the city, if there are none that is not a deal breaker however it does make a stronger bid;
Propose hotels for your bid that are affordable for all members of our organization;
Please be aware that typical National Committee meetings include 100 to 150 people. Please assume roughly half as many rooms will be required for the total number of attendees. Addressing the number of meeting rooms in your bid is a strength as well we request around 5 breakout style rooms and one large reception room;
Quotes in advance always make a strong bid. Be sure to include A/V costs in your quotes.
