As Full Fact's editor, I'd like to extend a huge thank you on behalf of our team of fact checkers, to everyone who has given so generously during The Big Give Christmas Challenge ([link removed]) . We’re now at over 75% of our target, raising more than £49,000.

Your donations really do mean a lot to us - not only do they fund our fact checking, advocacy, and monitoring, but they also let our team know just how valuable people consider our work. We’re very grateful.

As we approach the first New Year with a Labour UK government since 2010, donations made during The Big Give ([link removed]) are already helping Full Fact build big plans for 2025. Already our government tracker is proving popular and we’re aiming to expand it to incorporate more pledges from the Labour manifesto, as well as new promises. This will mean people can make up their own minds about whether the government is delivering. Your donations have helped make this possible.
