With just two weeks left until the end of the 118th Congressional session, we have a critical window to ensure the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) is incorporated into the U.S. Constitution. The ERA is the tool we need to secure equality under the law for all people, regardless of sex or gender. It's time for Congress to act boldly and protect our rights.

The ERA will:

• Enshrine equality under the law in the US Constitution
• Explicitly prohibit discrimination on the basis of sex
• Provide a powerful legal foundation to fight inequality and protect freedoms for everyone.

We need your help to contact 19 key members of Congress asking them to cosponsor H.J. Res 25 to affirm the ERA and remove the time limit for ratification. These representatives have the power to push forward the joint resolution. You don’t need to live in their district to contact them.

Tell Congress to clear the path for the ERA. The ERA is not just a women’s issue–the United States has an international legal obligation to guarantee protection against sex and gender-based discrimination in its Constitution. The majority of Americans support the ERA, yet we need urgent action to ensure it becomes a reality. 

Contact your representative and demand that they sign the discharge petition to advance the ERA and move H.J. Res 25 to the floor for a vote.
