We don’t mince words here.

Trenton Makes, The World Takes

Folks, every time I pass that bridge in Trenton and see that sign, “Trenton Makes, The World Takes” — I think, That’s New Jersey.”

Because in New Jersey, we love our state. We’re proud of our work ethic. We lift up our diversity. We care for our communities and for each other.

And when we feel like we’re being let down, we don’t mince words. We push forward.

Folks who aren’t from here might not understand that sometimes we just need to dish out some tough love — because while there’s so much to celebrate about New Jersey, we all know we can do better.

For too many families, our state is increasingly unaffordable. Grocery prices have skyrocketed. Our lack of housing supply means the dream of homeownership is growing out of reach for too many. Parents can’t afford the cost of child care.

The New Jersey I know and love is the best place to work, live, and raise a family — and as governor, I’ll never back down from a tough fight. That’s what New Jersey deserves.

So today, I’m kindly asking if you’ll take a moment or two to take my Jersey Pride Survey. I want to know what you love most about New Jersey — and what’s really grinding your gears about Trenton these days. Don’t hold back, I can take it!
