Donald Trump is trying to rewrite history -- plain and simple. He wants us to believe Jan. 6 was “peaceful” and “patriotic” and is likely going to PARDON the rioters who stormed the Capitol.

In reality, Jan. 6 was a stain on our democracy that will be recorded in history books for all the wrong reasons. Dozens of police officers were injured, five people died, and irreparable harm was inflicted on our democracy. 

Nothing is “peaceful” and “patriotic” about this scene. 

Donald Trump’s attacks on our democracy are only going to ramp up once he’s officially in office – and we need to be ready.
