The Hill: House Republican: ‘Hard decisions’ needed on Social Security, Medicaid, Medicare

John,

With any new administration, changes will be made to the way our government is run, but this is absolutely unacceptable. House Republicans are making it clear that once the GOP is in control of Congress under Donald Trump, they'll attack Social Security.

For 89 years, Social Security has been the foundation of a decent retirement for countless Americans. We need to strengthen Social Security — not cut it.

Americans work hard their whole lives to pay into Social Security, and for one in every four seniors, it's their primary source of retirement income. Social Security is a promise to the American people, and it's one I intend to protect.

If you agree we need to strengthen Social Security, add your name today to take a stand >> [link removed]

Thank you,

Chris
