As we enter a challenging/scary/dark time, we can ground ourselves in the people who came before us.

June Jordan popularized this phrase in her poem commemorating the 40,000 women and children who struggled against apartheid in South Africa.

The sticker’s 70s-inspired design —i nspired by the drum cover of Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts — ties us to a time of immense social change, like the Vietnam War and Civil Rights Movement, when people came together to fight for justice.

Our fights now—for Palestine, for the climate, and for racial justice—echo those struggles.

We can win these fights—but it’s abundantly clear that we can’t wait for someone to come and save us. We need to be the ones to push the movement forward.
