"It is no longer safe to be pregnant in Idaho." [[link removed]]

These are the devastating words of Jennifer Adkins, a lead plaintiff in our case against Idaho's cruel abortion ban. Her story is a stark reminder of the life-threatening consequences of these extreme laws.

When Jennifer's 12-week ultrasound revealed that her pregnancy wasn't viable, Idaho's abortion ban forced her to leave her home state to access life-saving care. Her doctors admitted they would have referred her for an abortion locally—if Idaho's laws allowed it. Instead, Jennifer and her husband had to travel to Portland, Oregon, only after receiving financial support from abortion funds.

Jennifer's story makes it clear: these so-called "medical exceptions" are vague, unworkable, and dangerous. Pregnant women deserve better. [[link removed]]

The Center for Reproductive Rights is representing Jennifer and six other plaintiffs in Idaho as they sue their home state to clarify and expand the so-called "medical exceptions" to Idaho's cruel and extreme bans.

Jennifer's story is difficult to hear—but it demands to be told. Share her story and join us in the fight for reproductive rights in Idaho. [[link removed]]
